Late Cancellation / No Show Policy

Scheduled lessons may be changed as to time and/or place by notifying Metro Driving School of the intended change at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the lesson. If a student cancels late or is otherwise unable to attend or does not show for a scheduled lesson, then the student will, at our discretion, be charged twenty five ($25) dollars or else will forfeit the lesson time.

This fee reflects the loss of earnings to the school and the instructor, as the lost time could have been better spent in the training of another student. If another student can be inserted into the time we reserved for you, then there will be no charge at all. Remember, there is NEVER a charge for lessons canceled in a timely manner.

Only assigned students of Metro Driving School are allowed to be in a driving car. Friends are never allowed to “sit in” or come in the back to watch. We respect our clients and their families right to this education along with their trust in our confidentiality when their students are with us.

We do our very best to provide house, school or work pick up and drop off service. Please be sure to ask this question when registering.

Occasionally poor road conditions and/or the length of where a student lives might need to require a “meeting” place. This will be determined before registration.

We have a huge legal responsibility for the safety of those students under age 18 therefore Driving lessons for students are scheduled and confirmed with a parent only.
